Representatives Phalang Pracharath Party in meeting Pheu Thai Party leaders tomorrow would be Thammanat Prompao, head of the parry coordinating task force.

He's Prawit's 'fixer'/henchman so we may want to get prepared for the "compromise" candidate, Prawit to jump to the top of the leaderboard.

1/2) BREAKING: Phalang Pracharath Party sec-gen Santi Prompat said Sun the party has received an invitation from Pheu Thai for a talk to solicit coalition support. He adds the meeting aimed at solving current political crisis will take place tomorrow.

(2/2) Representatives Phalang Pracharath Party in meeting Pheu Thai Party leaders tomorrow would be Thammanat Prompao, head of the parry coordinating task force. Thammanat was a former convict who served time in Australia for heroin smuggling.

A convicted heroin dealer as MP in Parliament? How sick is that. Unbelievable. And then he also has assets over 1000 million baht. Must be a very hard worker. Too bad Thailand doesn't have a proper tax investigation police.

Of course they can.

These coalitions are non-binding.

Surely it all depends on the wording of that MOU.  It can be legally binding or not.

Do we have a copy?

Looking into this further, you are correct, the conditions are non-binding.  Although having said that, this is Thailand.

What, so PT just says that's it, you're out? They're not even the majority party. Do you have any reliable sources for this? What about the MoU?

Don't you know who his Daddy is?

Parents: Inchan Prompow, Pew Prompow

Oddly enough I cannot find anything in English about Inchan Prompow or Pew Prompow. They both end up back at the link below.

An article in the B.P.

Sure, and I found numerous articles all of which appear to suggest there is nothing legally binding in any of the agreements made between the coalition parties, including the MoU. But we haven't seen the written agreements, and they'd be in Thai, so I guess case closed from my point of view. Maybe Pita has an ace up his sleeve. Who knows?

Still intrigues me to know how PT would break up the coalition. He'd be burning all his bridges. Supposing he gets shafted by his new found "friends". BJT and the woeful "Democrats" I thought were PT's sworn enemies, along with all the other military connivers. PT - sold out to the lowest bidder.

Thai Enquirer

@ThaiEnquirer

Pheu Thai leader Chonlanan Srikaew clarified that they are not pushing the Move Forward Party out of the 8-party coalition.

They are simply checking the stances of parties outside the coalition without asking them to join. The press conferences with external parties are part of their transparent negotiation process. They will discuss the answers received with their coalition partners before deciding the next steps.

This approach is part of the 8-party coalition's three-option strategy to form the government, including gaining votes from senators and external parties to reach the required 375 votes.

But ... does he have shares in a media company? Does the Army's TV Channel 5 count?

(2/2) The press conference will take place at Phalang Pracharath Party instead.

In other words, the military has joined the coalition.

It will now be a coalition of PTP - PPP and BJT.

Has the PTP leader already announced his resignation for betraying their voters?

Many of the parties and party members in this election are descended from banned parties, and have form for just what Pita is being wrongly accused of. Looks like a vendetta, no doubt about that.

Varawut Silpa-Archa

Banned from politics for 5 years in 2008, as was his father, Banharn, when his Chart Thai party (aka Thai Nation Party ) was dissolved,  along with Neutral Democratic Party and Pheu Thai's predecessor, People's Power Party, for violating electoral laws.

Pheu Thai evolved from People's Power Party whose deputy chairman was found guilty of electoral fraud in 2008.

And so it goes. A roll call of nine bob notes and wrong 'uns.

Just think of how corrupt you would have to be to be even seen with the Heroin Dealer criminal Thammanat Prompao, let alone sitting in solidarity with him. Adorned in gaudy gold trinkets just drooling over his chance to get back at the trough.

Are you wearing black tomorrow?

Significant protests in Bangok today and these will be ignored by this forum as it adds more and more attachments saying more or less the same thing about Pheu Thai stepping forward to be more acceptable for the losing side.

MFP won.  Is it just too inconvenient to be noticed any more?

THEY WON THE ELECTION..

and this idiot says they should disappear

They will save the country,

This what happens when an illegal junta writes a new constitution to make sure they decide the winner so that their cronies remain in place.

If the MFP does take control, they should get rid of all flag officers in the military and start anew and write a real democratic constitution.

The lesse majesty have to change for the best of the thai people

That's it in a nut shell, but unfortunately this is Thailand - there is no need to expand that any further. ????
