If one is to believe AMM on X/Twitter, the 'deal' is off.

Or Srettha is about to stab Thaksin in the back.

He doesn’t need 3 gems

he just need a pardon

it’s on going behind the scenes

I’ll love to see him back

PTP and his ardent aging fans would love to see him back... personally I don't give a fig.

I don't give a fig for any so called "political expert" in Thailand or worldwide for that matter.

Sure by the law of averages, they will be right sometimes and any normal person who makes a guess would be right also.

Yes, in a box.

He'll only come if PTP is in power and a watertight deal is in place otherwise the establishment would have to help him escape again, perhaps an important football match in China he has to see.

He will make Thailand great again!

What's your guess how many Baht he would steal if he gets back in 2 weeks time?

I am often wrong but the chance of Thaksin coming back to Thailand lies between slim chance and no chance... and slim left the building!

Here is the important part from the article:

19 times in 15 years

Since fleeing the country in August 2008, Thaksin has announced his return at least 19 times.

Yes, its a really 'painful dilemma'   ????????????

The fourth and most important gem in this scenario is discreetly not touched upon.

Thai Enquirer

Prapat Pothasuthon, Chart Thai Pattana's secretary-general, said he met with former PM Thaksin Shinawatra in Hong Kong last week, but it was only to congratulate him on his 74th birthday, not for any political deal.

He said Thaksin and he are old friends, and he has taken such a trip to congratulate Thaksin on previous birthdays before. He also mentioned that he did not see any other prominent member of any party when he met with Thaksin. On his return to #Thailand,

Thaksin said he will arrive via a private jet at Don Mueang Airport on August 10, and he is expected to be transferred to the Supreme Court to acknowledge his charges, showing his willingness to be imprisoned, according to Prapat.
