It's not that difficult.

 

My instincts tell me this is a female.

 

Having acquired English as my first language in the pre-woke era, I will naturally call her 'she' and it's correct to do so.

 

It's just natural because that's the way we acquired the language. It may be different in a few decades.

 

The English language is free and changes.

I think America is the country most infected with this malady. The other day I got an email and on the signature it had her name and after it she/her. Huh? 

 

Personally, I despise PC. I think it represents alot of what is wrong with contemporary culture, and especially America today. It is a major form of weakness, when you allow yourself to be easily offended, and take everything personally. Granted, there are things that can be perceived as offensive, but allowing yourself to be offended by tiny little things people say and do is a bit much! But, the people who are offended daily, by things others say, are just weak, and would benefit by growing thicker skin. Life can be rough and caustic at times, and for those of us who have grown thick skin, it is like water off a ducks back. No big deal, at all. Think what you want to think. It just does not mean anything to those with self esteem, and a sense of who and what they are. Granted, these are just my opinions, and some will take offense to them. LOL.

The issue as I see it, is that pronouns (he, she, they, etc.) are normally used when the person is not present. When the person is present you would normally use their name.

 

What this means is that a person who wants you to use their preferred pronouns wants to compel you to use their choice of words whenever you are not in their presence.

 

Not even most governments compel you to use words that are not your own choice. As such preferred pronouns are always going to be on the opposing side to people arguing for their own US freedom of speech or EU Article 11 rights.

The singular pronoun They is used when the subject has been introduced but the sex has not been identified.

Freedom of Speech doesn't seem to be allowed in this instance in a few states, (USA) as people have lost their jobs for not using someone's preferred pronoun.
