Where to apply for non-immigrant 'O' visa (over-50) without drawing UK pension?
The topic is about a Non O visa, not an extension of your temporary permission of stay, which is a permit. Other than an Embassy Income letter, overseas monthly income transfers are not permitted for a Non O application at Immigration. -

Marriage visa renewal
10 -11 of December should be ok for application but they might want to come and interview you in the meantime whilst you are not here, maybe tell them you won't be here and give a date they can come and interview you at home once returned from work. -

Yes we all know you don't need to prove any income source if you are one of the lucky few to have an Embassy that still issues the income letter. Nothing to do with OP and this thread though as UK don't issue the letter -

Cannabis-Intoxicated British Man Arrested for Trespassing and Overstay
Nope. Your little " pot" rant is wrong. The article is titled incorrectly. Get over it. -

Which state that Trump won in 2020 will he lose this time?
You imagine that I care what you say about me. Do what you want. Again, I don't understand why you don't know what Trump is up to with THIS ELECTION even more so now that you say you know what he did last time. He is incredibly transparent to anyone with basic intelligence. -

A Purpose for Retired Expats in Thailand
No way would I return to work or anything on a permanent basis. Having settled up here in a semi-rural area I would hate to be committed to working for someone else. With 2 rai to look after there is always things to be done but the energy levels are not what they used to be so they get done on a most needs basis. The lack of energy also leads to lack of motivation to do anything outside the property or even go anywhere. Even though the wife is much younger she is starting to have the same attitude. However she does have family and friends that interrupt her mini farming lifestyle. As to contributing skills to the community it is difficult to find a Thai that wants to learn and not do it their way. -

No you don't you just need a letter from your embassy. Your retirement income can come from any means does not have to come from international. -

Having kids when old
I completely disagree - you maybe describing rubbish schools. Its certainly different at top-tier international schools. I agree that home schooling is not for any parent, its not for the vast majority of parents given the experiences I have with the standards and knowledge I see in others around me. It could be argued that home schooling should be banned... (that depends on the available options though - home schooling could be a better option than sending a kid to the local temple school - but then going back to the UK and putting a child in a free school here is the better option). I'm not an educated educator - I'd be doing my son a disservice attempting to 'home-teach' him Maths, English, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics etc... Though I was very strong in those subjects... I've never been 'taught how to teach them'.... I'd fail my son and thus have to rely on and defer to the professionals, just as my employers do me.... -

Cannabis-Intoxicated British Man Arrested for Trespassing and Overstay
Bag of worms... it appears he may be half Thai... But... Any idiot Brit commenting on a generalisation against Aussies, is just as dumb as any idiot Aussie you are inciting to comment here based on national bigotry... -

Having kids when old
yes, exactly this, 60 is fine providing there is a very good chance you will see 80 and you are very secure financially. As for education.... my personal view from my own experience is schools slow down the learning process, and teach us to remember and repeat, more than to think for ourselves. that is just my experience though, i dropped out of high school at 14, last employed at 25 and retired in my 30s but that is not for everyone, and home schooling is not for every parent either. -

What is up with my fellow Brits and these bloody Man bags? I’m in my 50’s so prob don’t get the “fashion” aspect but even I know you are either using ,selling or at the least involved in the trade when wearing a Manlet bag and no that wasn’t a spelling mistake . -

I know what he did and personally I think his conduct around the J6 issue was appalling. You've crossed a different Rubicon here. I'm not prepared to type out what you are suggesting. And I will refrain from delivering unto you the mockery you deserve.- 1

Supporters circulate fake AI image of Trump wading thru flood waters in Georgia
The one AI photo I reposed above -- to illustrate how fake media is being used / abused in the presidential campaign -- is clearly labeled as FALSE. Can't say the same for the posting habits of Trump and his lot.....as illustrated in several earlier posts in this thread.
