Kenny202 Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Pretty sure I know the answer but just wondering in Thailand if it is possible to have someone's name on the vehicle book yet be owned (property rights) by the person who paid for the vehicle? In my country vehicle registration isn't always proof of ownership. The person who actually bought and paid for the vehicle is the owner.
Popular Post Kwasaki Posted August 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 11, 2023 The person named in the book is the owner and reposible for the vehicle. My wife's name is in all green books for our bikes and in the blue book of the truck. 1 1 1
brianthainess Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 My name is in the book as I paid for them my car, my wife's car, and her motorbike .many years ago a GF stole and sold 'my' car, it was in her name, all to pay off her mothers gambling debts. Lesson learnt Whoever's name is in the book owns it. people can get a loan handing the book to a bank or whoever. 1 1
