Honestly, I don't get it!

 

The topics are no more 'hard-core' than those in the general Community Pub.  An access requirement of just 100 posts is laughable.  If there is meant to be some kind of VIP alure then the entry requirement should be 10,000 posts.

 

Now if I want to browse through light-hearted posts I have to browse two different but identical sub-forums.

 

I just don't get it!

Yes I know the guidelines.  However in practice (if you peruse the various post topics), they are absolutely no different from those in the general Community Pub area.

 

Perhaps you could require posters in The Lounge only to post controversial, racist or misogynistic content? ???? Anything that is 'tame' should be moved to the general Pub area.

We just can't win 

Personally I post something in The Lounge (instead of the Community Pub) if I want to see comments from people who are already longer in Thailand and not newbies.

I.e. if I would like to know if it's ok to have two regular darlings in one bar, then I would ask is The Lounge and not the Community Pub.

Ohh the humanities  not sure how you put up with it.

I  personally  use the more scientific method of choosing of "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe Catch a tiger by the toe "

 

Seriously, I don't even look at any of the subforums, I just look in to the "view new content"
