Has Yamaha got their sums wrong?

Featured Replies

To be honest, I am confused. A 15yr old can get a motorcycle license to ride up to 110cc. The Yamaha Finn is 115cc... Does that mean Yamaha have missed out on 15 to 18 yr olds for the sake of 5cc? Or am I missing something?

Yamaha is probably aware that nobody cares about this anyway

Except the Insurance Company when a 15 year old claims.

I understand most Thai's are not bothered about riding illegally, but what about Thai's and foreigners who want to go down the legal route?

Yama may sell that model in other countries not subject to Thai laws

The compulsory insurance always pays. What percentage of Yamaha Finn owners do you think have voluntary insurance? Probably 0.1% tops.
