In a startling incident at 01:30 AM on August 21, 2023, a fire erupted in utility wires along Pattaya Beach Road, causing a blaze that consumed six parked vehicles.

Reported to Sawang Boriboon Radio Center, Pattaya City, the conflagration occurred in Soi 4 of Moo 9, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi. A fire truck rushed to the scene and promptly began extinguishing the flames, reported 77kaoded.

Flames raged intensely through the wires before sparks fell onto six parked utility trucks, leaving them charred wrecks. Firefighters worked quickly, dousing the fire with water, eventually bringing it under control.

Witnesses recounted hearing a loud explosion from a transformer shortly before flames erupted. Investigations are underway as officials gather evidence, intending to inform the owners of the affected vehicles before proceeding with compensation procedures at the Pattaya City Police Station.
