August 24, 20232 yr Hi all, been waiting for a parcel 24 days now.Tracked it to Heathrow, where it's just stopped.Said parcel contains, miscellaneous papers,an atm card, eye drops and a few meds. I know it's probably the meds that they have confiscated the parcel for but what is the next step?Or should i resign myself to losing it?Cheers KF.
August 24, 20232 yr Have you spoken to the Post Office. If you know it's at Heathrow they should be able to tell you if it's still there or sent on.

August 24, 20232 yr If you have a trackling number try inputting it here https://www.ems.post/en/global-network/tracking i had an package from Ireland and the Irish tracking number worked on the EMS site, if you use a VPN you might have to turn it off
August 25, 20232 yr If the sender declared the contents of the parcel and included any medical item, the parcel will have been stopped by Thai Customs. Importing medical equipment of any sort without a licence is a no-no, as I found to my cost many years ago when I ordered a support boot on Amazon (in those days I hadn't discovered Lazada). I think it was DHL in BKK who contacted me and offered the options (a) appoint a licensed agent to conclude the import (b) return to sender (c) have the item destroyed. I didn't want to accept the hassle and cost of a or b for a relatively inexpensive item and wrote it off. In the fulness of time you may or may not be contacted by the Thai Post Office, who in my experience have become notoriously unreliable since Covid. I wouldn't have anything of value sent to me via the postal system.
