Not a matter of money. Just a matter of being a fool or not as they say a fool and his money are soon parted.

And "hey"....if you like to be cheated, that's great for you, but others don't.

And yet you're being taken for a fool by CP et al every time you make a purchase at a 7-Eleven or any of the other big names. At least the tuk tuk guys are honest about ripping you off.

So you say 7-11 must sell it's goods at a cheaper price it cost them to buy ? Sir, I hope you do not run a business.

That is probably the weakest argument and most stupid comment I have seen today.

Sure, but they don't get the special "falang" price.

Me neither

Maybe you don't because you walk only to save the pennies.

Very true you are....I think with some, it's a born habbit.

Why, because it makes too much sense? So you're happy to hand over tens of thousands of baht over the course of your life to already mega-rich corporations but you begrudge a tuk tuk driver a few extra baht when he's doing essentially the same as the corporation, just up close and personal?

Methinks you're not as smart as you think you are.

You know nothing  -  and continually provide evidence to support that view.

No, it's you who know nothing with such a hateful comment like that. Tuk tuk drivers are hustlers but they do it out on the street instead of in the board room. I'm sorry for you that you can't handle the in-your-face capitalism despite (presumably) living here for a while.

I can handle capitalism, no problem, I was part of it for years.

What I can't abide is arrogant gouging my low life 'hustlers'. They would sell their Granny for Sixpence and would not hesitate to rip off visitors to this country. The Phuket mafia are probably the worst.

I take taxi's, Tuk Tuk's, Motorcycles and planes. I don't need to save pennies, I make a lot of money every year.

I can always walk away from tuk-tuk drivers.

I detest those annoying lottery ticket sellers who walk up to my table when I'm dining!
