Hello, I am currently trying to sell my condo in Bangkok using an agent. Can anyone advise all relevant fees I would have to pay for the sale? I have owned the property for 8 months. Thank you.

On some property websites in Thailand you will find some details about a list of costs and percentages, but as far as I see there are no exact calculations.

When I bought my condominium, I tried to find out the details, and failed.

Me seller suggested a sales price with the condition that he pays all cost. I liked that deal a lot better than "we share the cost 50/50" or something like that because there was no room to argue or (for me) to worry about.

Ball park,

 

6%, transfer, special business tax  (usually  shared 50/50 between seller and buyer)

 

5% value of the condo paid by you to the agent for them finding a buyer.
