How to throw out my girlfriend's son out of the house?

I've been with my Thai girlfriend for over 5 years now. The youngest son is an angel while the older son (27 years old) is a pain in the ass. My Thai girlfriend fights with him all the time. He use to live in Bangkok but has moved back home to Kalasin and causing problems. My Thai girlfriend wants him kick out of the house. My question is, if it becomes physically with me and him, will I get into trouble with the police? I hear the police won't get involved in removing him from my Thai girlfriend's house (it's a family matter) so what will happen if I physically remove him from the house? I have a martial art background and he is tiny to the size of me. We will be flying back to Thailand soon.

Easy way 

1 don't come back if he's there.

2 come back but live at least 500km away.

 

Rent in Chiang Mai or Hua Hin.

As Mania mentioned,    it would be very risky and dangerous for you if a physical fight ensued.

He has friends with guns under their motorbike seats,  it'd be nothing to him to have you out of the picture, he's not worried about going to jail for that.  

TIT .... 

If you get into an altercation he's likely to call the police and they will side with the Thai ....  you could end up in jail and charged with assault if they believe his story and not yours.

 

Move ....  as far away as you can.

Easiest way is to change the locks when he is away. First make sure you can lock all entrances.

No need to resort to violence. If Thai girlfriend wants him out and she solely owns the property, try the police. Maybe police can be incentivized somehow to remove him. But again, unless it's in self defense, don't touch him. Even in self defense, it's risky for you for the reasons others have said.

Girlfriend should go to local police station, ask for help to evict him, and maybe make a contribution as intensive

The son has no criminal history or history of violence at all. It's a real step to commit violence let alone pull a trigger. I understand Thailand is run by the mafia but this is back in the village.

This is the most stupid thing I've ever read. It's the mother's house not the son's house! The younger son wants to come home to remove him from the house too. I was thinking about going to a local Muay Thai gym and hiring some Thai muscle to have him removed cause I know Farangs have no rights when it comes to the Thai police. The more witnesser the better where we have support from other family members in the village too. I like to take control in matters like this and not be in the side line like a pussy. 

 

We are in Australia at the moment where my Thai girlfriend has told him to leave 2 months ago when he move back home but he hasn't cause he knows we aren't in the country.

 

The other option is we can move back into the house where my Thai girlfriend will be yelling at him all day long like she does hence in the end, he will move out. He doesn't usually stay for long for Songkran cause of my Thai girlfriend yelling in rage at him. He feels intimated around me hence he will feel even more uncomfortable in the house with us.

Ignore all the negative posts. They never stood up for themselves and are scared.

Have a talk with him first and TELL him to behave or he goes out on his backside and you will change the locks.

Something similar happened to me some years ago. But it was between me and my Thai GF.

She had another BF when I was back home for some months. When I came back, I asked her to leave. She said that she was not leaving the apartment, and that she wanted ME to go, and leave everything behind, furniture and all.

 

So one day, I changed the locks, put all of her stuff on the veranda outside, and left to sleep in a rented room for the night.

I got a call in the morning, she was asking if I did put her stuff outside, and changed the locks, rather than the owner I suppose. I answered that I did put her stuff outside. She told me that I was in big trouble, and that the police was outside waiting for me.

So I went to the apartment, greeted by 4 policemen. We went together to the owner, and the police asked the owner, 'Who rented the apartment, and who pays the rent?". He replied: "Falang''.

They went back to the apartment with a pick-up truck, put al her stuff in the back of the pick-up, and asked my gf where she wanted her stuff sent.

My GF thought for sure that the police would side with her, no matter what....

She said the Thai police won't get involved cause they class it as a family matter. They stay out of things like this. It's not like how it is in how home country.

One thing the OP may not be fully aware of is that in Thai rural culture, long since emancipated children are free to return to the parental homestead, and unless there is a really, really compelling reason to kick them out, nobody ever says a word. I have seen this happen many times, i.e., Somchai gets out of jail, loses his job, gets divorced. It sounds like his mother's house is all the more attractive for squatting because she is frequently absent, and a mentality that she has "another house" has set in. Don't know what to tell you about how to handle this situation, but absolutely do not get into a physical altercation with this guy. Possible drug use, Oedipal undercurrents you may not be fully aware of, retaliation by proxy, etc., are just a few of the reasons why. Let your wife take the lead on this, and try to negotiate a resolution.

I have had loads of fights in my life, have a martial arts background same as the OP and used to do a bit of moonlighting as a bouncer in the Amsterdam Red light area. Solved quite a few issues in Thailand too. 

I am still around and get a lot of respect of Thai people as they know I am not a mouse who runs away when there is a little bit of noise around the corner.

I had the same problem with my wife's nephew. I got divorced, which solved that problem for me. Otherwise not a damn thing I could do except moan about him to her.

Just tell him face to face to pack up and leave before you guys comes home. Do you understand what the mom really say to him? 

 

And if not moved when you guys arrive, pack up his things and send him out. Should not be necessary to be violent. If not happening, I would carry him out, simple as that. Still not necessary to execute violence if you know your martial art and your physics.

 

No matter what your gf says, police will help, but it I more about face than anything else.

The police in that story sided with the Thai landlord. Always best to maneuver conflicts into Thai Vs Thai, only fools fight their own battles.

There's also been a lot of tough guys who have ended up on a morgue slab. You're whipping the OP into this macho frenzy. The interloper is his wife's son, so will be in her life for the duration. Does the  OP really want someone like this giving him the evil eye every time he sees you? Do you really want to be worrying about someone accidentally-on-purpose running you over with his pickup truck every time you go for a walk? Evicting him? Locking him out of the house? What do you imagine is going to happen? He's just going to slink off into the sunset, never to be seen again?
