The governor spoke about the Bangkok Car Free 2023 event, which is being held in the capital city under the theme “Obstacles, Opportunities, and the Future” from September 22 to 24, 2023. On the first day of the event, the Bangkok Governor and his team participated by reducing their use of private cars and instead using public transportation to commute to work. IF your origin & destination is not right next to a BTS the public transport in BKK is rubbish. But, build more condos & shopping malls in the centre…. Add to gridlock ! 3

And how is that any different to anywhere unless tube trains drop you at your house? Public transport here has developed a hell of a lot over the last 25 years. It is by no means perfect but it's not bad. Saying it is rubbish unless you live next to a station is a bit silly.
