Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin held talks with his Cambodian counterpart Hun Manet after arriving in Phnom Penh for a one-day visit this morning.

Phnom Penh Post reported that the two prime ministers met at the Peace Palace and was scheduled to join a luncheon before laying a wreath at the Independence Monument and the statue of the late King Norodom Sihanouk.   Srettha is also scheduled to meet with Cambodian’s National Assembly President Khuon Sudary later in the afternoon.

Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said the visit to Cambodia by the Thai leader will further strengthen the traditional bonds of friendship and elevate multifaceted cooperation between the two nations.
