Who? Oh, her. Melania feels "betrayed" by her staff, according to a source who spoke to the Times. Melania’s former chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, also took a critical shot at her in her book “I will take your questions now.” If this was not enough, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, the former first lady’s friend and confidante, took a more personal view in “Melania and Me,” in which she accused her former first lady of “burning out” during her time in Washington. Recently, the ex-first lady showed up at a fancy dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Melania was there with Donald Trump. The source said that Melania feels hurt and that's why she keeps a low profile now. She only comes out in “highly controlled situations.” Speaking of her recent Mar-a-Lago appearance, the insider revealed, “She has dinner at Mar-a-Lago but doesn’t mingle and hobnob with people as he does. It’s a safe zone for him. She doesn’t view it as a safe zone.” Melania thinks she was not greeted like other former first ladies and got a lot of flak. This left-out feeling went into the fashion world too, especially when Vogue magazine didn't put her on their covers, even though she wanted it. It looks like she will only join in places where she feels okay. https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/us-news/melania-trumps-absence-from-public-eyes-tied-to-white-house-mystery-101712046025034.html -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
What you outlined happening in the West is why foreigners should not be able to get permanent-jobs in foreign countries. Why should the people of a nation support a govt - giving that govt power to dictate laws they must "obey," etc - when that govt does not work exclusively for THEIR interests? One can always make money outside Thailand, and spend most/all of one's time here - have a family here, etc. As long as a foreigner is bringing money into Thailand to spend, the locals benefit, so it's fine. In cases of a rare-skill, then an exception can be made, temporarily. -

Help needed to be able to transfer money from my UK bank
Exactly right @Regyai I haven't been able to transfer money out of Nationwide to a new payee for about 2 years. I have used my other bank Cahoot to transfer money via Wise to my Thai bank but they even blocked the transfer and I had to phone their fraud dept and answer lots of security questions before they unblocked the transfer. I'm not complaining as the security is done to help to protect us against all those nasty people. I was going to try to install the Nationwide App as you suggest but I had a further problem after I posted in that my UK SIM card has now stopped working. 2 days ago it did not receive a OTP text, I removed the SIM card, cleaned it with a little alcohol, re-inserted and it was then good. Yesterday the SIM was again faulty, I tried it in a different phone, I had an online chat with a Vodapone guy who was good, the SIM has gone faulty! Again I am not complaining or in trouble, I have been in Thailand now continuously for 7 years and love life here. I need to go back to the UK to sort out many things and plan to do so early next year. I have more than enough Thai baht in my Thai bank to last until I return to the UK. After I am in the UK I will buy at least 2 more SIM PAYG, one being an eSIM etc etc I was going to try to install the Nationwide App but now because I not have a working SIM phone number that is registered with Nationwide I don't think it will be sucessful, just my gut feeling. Actually now, since yesterday when my UK SIM card stopped working I cannot login to any of my UK bank accounts! I am alright but it could be a big problem for some people. Sorry I am running on as I am having a beer. Thanks for your comment. -

Motorcycle Hits Barrier in Chiang Mai, Rider Unaccounted For, Single Shoe Found
A significant collision involving a large motorbike and a barrier occurred on Khlong Chonprathan Road, but the driver is yet to be found. Only a single shoe remained at the accident spot, even after thorough searches by rescue teams. Early this morning, at 3.30 am on August 8, the Chiang Mai Provincial Police Headquarters (191) got notified about an accident. A large motorcycle crashed into a roadside barrier near the Mae Hia Agricultural Research Station in Mueang Chiang Mai. Upon receiving this information, officials alerted the Phuping Police Station patrol and the Chiang Mai Rescue Association, who promptly sent an ambulance and divers to the site. When the rescue team reached the location, they found a large motorcycle with a Chiang Mai number plate lying on the side of the road. Upon closer inspection, they discovered a single sneaker and signs of a collision with the barrier, leading them to suspect that the driver might have toppled into an adjacent irrigation canal. Despite an exhaustive search, the driver has not been found yet. The Chiang Mai Rescue Association President, Tulip Mahawong, spoke about finding only the motorcycle at the site and no trace of the injured driver. The Rescue association, thus, initiated a water search in the canal, working on the hypothesis that the driver might have been thrust into the water due to the accident's impact. Even after scrutinizing a 3.3-kilometer long stretch of the canal, no body was discovered. The rescue operation was temporarily suspended because the canal veers underground at a sluice gate, making any further search efforts impractical for the time being. Southport Stabbing: Child Killed and Several Injured in Taylor Swift-Themed Workshop Attack
Most are against the "right wing" yobs, me too, I refer to them as just that, yobs, brainless Brits, but, that has nothing to do with mass immigration, which is stifling many countries for being "nice"... The UK is not alone with the big immigration problem, many are not mixing and towns turned into their own ghetto's. Germany, Denmark and others all have the spongers moving in, 99% financial immigrants.. Thailand is basically a Buddhist nation, children are taught from a very early age the rituals, I know, and no doubt the same thing happens in the Muslim community. I was brought up in a Christian UK, religion reigned way back then, but thankfully that seems to have now gone, but not the Muslims, after all, their book has stated, Christians are the enemy, hmmmm, I wonder why they come to Christian countries then, can you answer that...? 🤔 -
