Sometimes the spam detection does a false positive. I have manually approved this post.

Can you give me a link to previous post that got flagged, and I’ll have a look.

Yep - I've received that too.  Simply deleted the post as I was clueless as to why I got that message.
Spam filter?  Over 21K posts you'd think that the system would "know" me by now.
And I got a Captcha challenge today as well.  Strange daze days.

It was that pic that triggered. It has the text:

”verify your identity”. I will dig further, but It’s an algorithm that kicked in and flagged that pic.

Yes I tried to post it again, and again it was flagged.

Previous post is still not approved either

You better post again and use another pic that doesn’t get flagged.

That said, I’m looking in the logs to see details why this pic was flagged. Will get back to you.

LOL, that pic is just the point of my posted, since the poster I replied to thought it was some phishing scam, and the picture is evidence it is legit

Same for me, if my posts need approval, you're about to lose a poster.

This 'hidden' post has a photo, and it's hidden awaiting approval..

Made a previous post on another thread, no photo, and it wasn't 'hidden'.

I have adjusted the settings so these flags should not happen unless it’s very bad things.

Sorry for inconvenience. 🙏 We are learning all new features after the software upgrade, one by one.

Just edited my post to correct a spelling, and it's hidden again.

Can't see anything risky about this photo .......

Ok, I have approved it again and changed some settings, so this should not happen again.

Cheers

I heard rumors that AN is going AI to screen posts. Any truth to that?

Also, the button to go back to the top of the page is gone. Temporary "fix" or an "improvement?"

Yes! We are testing AI detection of spam and unwanted pics.

Back to top button coming back soon. This week!

Surely 'all the new features' should have been tried and tested by the Techies before they were implemented instead of using the Members as guinea pigs.

The new features have been tested, but this forum is much bigger than most forums, so we always need to tweak the settings to fit our content, especially new AI detection tools are tricky.

We are getting there!

Yes I understand, but how many of your valued Members will get pi55ed off and say 4..k it and leave before the problems are sorted.

As for AI, you can call me Al (Paul Simon)

We have just adjusted the settings, so consider this issue sorted.

cheers

George
