Popular Post snoop1130 Posted October 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 20, 2023 Thailand’s Supreme Administrative Court has upheld the Central Administrative Court’s decision to order the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to disclose to anti-graft activist Veera Somkwamkid details of its investigation into over 20 luxury wristwatches, seen being worn in public by former Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan. The Supreme Court’s decision in the case between Veera and the NACC was read this morning (Friday) by the Central Administrative Court. After the NACC ruled by 5:3 votes in December 2018 to clear Prawit of making a false assets declaration to the anti-graft watchdog, the anti-corruption activist took the wristwatch scandal, implicating Prawit, to the Central Administrative Court, seeking disclosure by the NACC of its findings and a summary of the opinions of each commissioner, under the Official Information Act. If that swindled money had been spread amongst the Thai citizens, millions, maybe tens of millions, would be lifted out of poverty. Instead, the greedy few have taken more than they would ever need to live on. 1 2 2

And, on the more than few occasions that it does pop it's head up here or there, it's almost always squelched and twisted by establishment forces. Appears to be the projected norm the world over. Dumbing down is the accepted comfort. 1
