Negita43
I've been here more than 10 years and over that time accumulated lots of stuff. Time for a clear out. Where is a good place to sell/donate it?

Popular Post Jingthing
I just leave stuff in the trash area of my condo and I make a sport of seeing how quickly things get snatched up. One time a maid was there and I handed it directly to her with a thank you. 6 2 4

What ever is left over maybe give it to the local "salang" guy. They drive around old 3 wheel motorcycles looking for scrap and for 30 years, aluminum, plastic, and glass. Hate being behind them driving but they provide a service. We do it as well by giving all the recyclables to him. He will offer to buy them and whip out his scale. Their kind is dying out. They are old and the kids dont want to do it. Nice to see them smile. You may have to ask a security guard, or local, or motorcycle driver about it. 7 1

One time I dumpster dived an item from there for myself. A huge fake houseplant. Gotta act quickly. Don't dawdle! I have wondered why they threw it out. Does it have cooties? It appears that someone with so much IT experience doesn't think that AseanNow isn't acquiring his data and selling it is apparently being a little naïve.

Where is a good place to sell/donate it? Had the same problem, quite difficult when there is no refuse collection/disposal.A lot depends where you live. Around Chonburi there are quite a lot of Japanese second hand places that will take stuff in reasonable condition for next to nothing. We had a pick up call in about a year ago looking for donations, took almost everything we had. Should have taken a note of the number, need it again.

Popular Post ChrisP24
Maybe find a young person (niece, nephew etc.) to liquidate the items online for a generous commission? Gets the stuff gone, teaches entrepreneurship, and you get some baht as a bonus. 2 2

Sometimes I encounter a young whipper snapper (sorry) who looks surprised to see my proficiency on my smart phone. I want to smack such ignorant punks. Who freakin' created social media? CanadaSam
You need to think about the feeling you get, when you give stuff away, versus selling it for a pittance. I put stuff in a box, and after a month or two, put it outside my condo, and by gollee, it's gone within minutes! I compare the satisfaction of knowing somebody who needed the stuff, getting it free, vs my having a few hundred baht, and there is no comparison. What goes around comes around. 1
save the frogs
yeah, don't be too cheap. give away whatever you can afford to give away. facebook might be replaced at some point, but right now facebook marketplace seems like the best place to sell stuff.
