The Pheu Thai party, under its new leadership, will keep its eyes on the stars and its feet on the ground, while standing shoulder to shoulder with the people, said Paetongtarn today (Friday) in her first speech as party leader.

 

“Pheu Thai party’s heart is the people,” she said.

 

She said she realises that her new mission is sizeable and important, especially in the current volatile political context.“I have great confidence in the party, because it has a large number of well-qualified personnel with considerable experience. We have continuously developed since the Thai Rak Thai days,” she said.

Thank you. I've lived in 3 countries that have dubious governance and I long since learned to keep my nose well out of it. Their country, their business.
