Hotel Booking Agents

Can anyone advise me on the best way to obtain the cheapest rate for a good hotel in Chaweng. I've stayed before, booking through, Amazing Samui, Asia Travel, Asia Hotels and contacting the hotels directly. I always come away thinking I've paid too much for hotels compared to the price of eating out etc. in Samui. This time I'd like to stay in the Chaweng Regent or Baan Haad Ngam Resort for 14 nights , the cheapest price I've found is £65:00 a night B&B for a double (4,300 ish Baht). I know I can get cheaper hotels, I'd just like to stay at one of these but paying the lowest rate available. When we stay in the Philippines my wife, a fillipina is able to obtain a local rate which is a fraction of the advertised price. Any suggestions as to the best way of obtaining the cheapest rate for the above hotels or similar quality, any assistance very much appreciated.
