November 6, 20232 yr I am due to renew my O retirement soon. There is one blank page left in my passport and several half pages. Is there any Thai rule bout the number of blank pages one must have in a passport when renewing a retirement visa inside Thailand?
November 6, 20232 yr Basic Documents Required for ALL Types of Non-Immigrant VisaPassport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months and at least 2 blank pages. Applicants must fill in online visa application with their given name(s) and surname as appear in their passports. copy and pasted from Google
November 6, 20232 yr Popular Post For an extension you only need room for the stamps which I believe take up half a page (I'm assuming the same space as a marriage extension). Your validity must be past the end date that your extension would be otherwise you only get until expiry of your passport. If unsure have a word with your local immigration office for word from the horse's mouth. @nikmar Whist your information is, I believe, accurate, it is for a visa obtained from a consulate outside Thailand rather than an extension of stay obtained within Thailand which is what our OP wants. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
November 6, 20232 yr Popular Post OP, the extension stamp takes half a page. Likewise a reentry permit. Suggest you attend your immigration office and outline your plan to obtain extension and then apply for new pp.
November 6, 20232 yr Author Thank you to all of those who replied. My original retirement visa was made inside and renewed in Thailand and it is a genuine last page not one intended for endorsements.

In 2014 I got caught up in the UK passport fiasco and had to go and get a 12 month extension as I could not leave the country for another ME visa. I went for marriage to get the 30 days in the hope the new passport would be back before then. The passport was full, not enough room for the under consideration stamp without encroaching on other stamps. Immigration didn't like it but they just used the largest space they could find and allowed the stamps to overlap.

They email you the evisa and it never goes in your passport. The OP is applying for an extension based on retirement and mine only takes up half a page.

Thanks for pointing out .
November 7, 20232 yr Always good to avoid leaving a full / expired passport to the last minute. I was extremely lucky getting my latest passport days before the Covid pandemonium set in, and at the same time my sister died .
