Man Dies After Passing Out in the Sea, Body Found Trapped in Own Fishing Net
Picture from responders. A 47-year-old man tragically lost his life after passing out in the sea, where his body became entangled in his own fishing net. The incident occurred during the morning of 3 February at Ban Koh Fai, a coastal area in Pak Phanang, Nakhon Si Thammarat. Police from the Pak Phanang Police Station were notified about a body found floating in the sea near the shore. Emergency responders, including medical staff from Pak Phanang Hospital and rescue teams from local foundations, arrived at the scene to investigate. The deceased man was identified as Sakda aged 47. His body showed no signs of foul play or injury. According to initial investigations, Sakda had gone to the area earlier that morning to set his fishing nets in the sea. He later returned to retrieve the nets, which were about 200 meters from the shore. It is believed that he passed out and became trapped by his own fishing net, he was unable to free himself and drowned. His family has stated that they do not suspect any foul play and have accepted the cause of death as drowning. The body has been handed over to the family for funeral rites. -- 2025-02-04 -

I llke the comment about dogs would use that place to pee also. It says a lot about Thai mentality. Noone would bat an eye if it was a dog peeing there or even another Thai. Yet, see a foreigner doing it and the netizens are outraged and the police are hunting you down to make you pay. The cities want their millions of tourists yet do everything to make it impossible even so much as making it very difficult to empty your bowels. These photos of foreigners peeing, The men go to extreme lengths to make sure their privates are not shown. They do not seem like they are doing it to disrespect Thailand or the laws which means their really is nowhere to use a toilet or they are unable to find it if there is one. What would you do if you had to go so badly that even peeing behind a car or building was the better option? Or perhaps Thailand should offer disposable pee bags to carry with you should you feel the need to go and can not find a toilet? Oh wait a minute. Thailand also has a lack of public trash bins as well and someone would need to carry that pee bag with them until they got home or the netizens would be complaining this also. -

And you can't buy booze 24 hours a day can you? Are you suggesting that alcohol can't be bought in advance and drank at any time?????? Now I am not saying I'm against weed Then why did you bring it into the discussion when it has absolutely no relevance to the story. yes, drugs and alcohol control are relevant to the story because these guys were "probably" imbibing in something Again, pure speculation on your behalf, with no suggestion of this in the story, but it definitely contributes to the mayhem that is prevalent in Phuket right now. Definitely????? What mayhem can you prove that has been caused by weed in Phuket. Please post a credible source showing this and I will reciprocate with 10 news articles of alcohol fueled mayhem to each that you provide. In my humble opinion. Yes, that is all that it all that is, your opinion. As I have already stated, there is no mention or even a suggestion of weed in the story. You bought this to the thread, without cause and reason. Your hatred/fear of weed shines through.
