Is there a parking(short term less than 1 hr) close to the departure hall at suvarnabhumi airport, and if.. are there normally parking available(evening 7-8 pm)?

Right opposite the main terminal, minimum 1 hour 25 baht if memory serves me correct. It can get busy though as the 1 day parking in there is not much more than the long term quite some distance away so its far more convenient. Dare say you would find a space that time of night though, probably nearer the top. You just walk across a bridge then up to departures. Well sign posted on the way in.

Thank you!

Agree as said go up the to the top, there are elevators that will take you up or down to level 2, there is a walkway direct into arrivals, and there, is the "meeting point" sign, incase you need it.
