 Does anyone know where I can get a Mitsubishi pedestal fan serviced and the plug cable replaced here on the island please?

If you do not get a specific answer any appliance/electrical/repair/tv shop should be happy to do as about a 5 minute job (but maybe need new wire).  But most places have dedicated fan repair person/shop in market area. 

If you can, then do it yourself. Any most hardware stores here, they sell cables with one end having a plug, and the other end is open so that you can connect it to whatever device you are installing new cable. 

There are numerous of small electronic repair shops. I've seen a few on the Ring Road in Bang Por and also used on of them. You will typically find them off major tourist areas – rent on a main road there too high – but perhaps in some the sois.
