Most other recent "modifications" (Russia, Khazakstan, etc.) were/are temporary. A govt spokesman told media a few more details of this mutual visa-waiver program for Chinese and Thai travelers: 30 days of visa free travel, but multiple entires within 180 days (or 6 months) musn't exceed 90 days in total and an agreement will be finalized in late Feb.
