OK, if you say so.

I would have thought that this part was very relevant.

What would I know, I'm not American.

Who should feel uncomfortable apart from DeSantis supporters? These people already voted Trump in 2020 elections.

Haven't you heard that Trump won the 2016 election?

I couldnt care less who won the 2016 election

I asked you what happened in the evolutionary cycle that made this happen

Quote
  • Donald Trump scored a landslide victory to kick off the Republican primary
  • He lost the Iowa caucus in 2016 - but significantly reversed that result last night by winning over key voting blocs in the state, including white evangelicals, younger voters and women

Its only 8 years, I thought you might be able to put your finger on it.

I suspect that both carry the odor of the nursing home about their person.

I heard one 'wees' himself whilst the other likes to be 'wee'ed on.'

Leaders of the freeworld

"Mr Trump's victory was a broad one as well. He won the young and old, men and women. He also won over the evangelical and hard-right conservative voters he had difficulty winning in 2016".

So they vote for the orange clown after all this....unbelievable:- He is a proven multiple liar, a narcissist, has cheated on his wives and once while one of them was in hospital giving birth, had sex with strippers and hookers and paid for the privilege, has defrauded banks and the everyday working American man, has been found guilty of stealing from a charity and sexually assaulting a woman in a department store............and the list goes on!

I guess the evangelical far right really don't give a toss about their religion. Religious beliefs, good grief! What a farce

You forget about the Christian indulgence! 😃.

Edit

Well, Evangelists just forget about the "repent" aspect! 😃

I'm going to USA in a couple of months: anyone have suggestions as to where I might move all my money to that might weather the least damage if Trump becomes president.

They say "people get the governments they deserve"... but Trump? I think we've done a bit less genocide than the Nazis (at least in the last 50 years)... so how do we wind up with the most execrable wanna be human (maybe...)

It's gotten to the point where the entire campaign and holding the office itself is so degrading and so difficult, that noble people, quality people and people with a nanogram of integrity would have no interest in going anywhere near that office, and would have no interest in running for that office.

Only megalomaniacs seek that kind of position in this day and age.

The born again evangelical hypocrites leading the way to a Trump dictatorship. How can anyone who claims to be a christian even consider voting for Trump? It beggars belief.

I've talked to a few of them and they say he's the lesser of two evils or some other nonsense like I'm not voting for the man I'm voting for the issues, and he represents my issues more than the Democrats. It's a total compromise and it's a "sell your soul to back the issues" kind of deal but nonetheless that's the way they think.

And of course the other issue is that the Democrats just made a huge mistake by supporting Biden for a second term, having Harris close to the presidency is a nightmare, she's a nightmare. And Joe is ancient.

And you do not seem to understand humour.

I really could not give toss who wins, I just know enough to understand that Trump doing well will have heads exploding.

Yours included.

Tons of red necks up there as the radical left would call them .

Trump’s base consisting of

anti establishment, anti DC, anti globalization',anti socialism, anti communism, anti Marxism , America First  Gop voters will carry the Republic toward another landslide victory, despite all of the reported political election interference .

Actually I was thinking of DeSantis, Haley, and Ramaswamy.

Biden was a nobody as a Senator.  A rusty weather vane who took no chances and was very careful to never make any hard decisions. As a younger man, he was glib and friendly, which took him a long way in the 80s and 90s as he served longer and longer.  He did nothing in the private sector but instead bellied up to the government trough as fast as he could after stumbling out of Law School. Getting picked as VP was supposed to be his "gold watch", after which he was ticketed to fade away into obscurity. Tragically, it didn't work out that way.

Vivek would be my choice in 28 or who ever the America First Movement

might suggest!

He mimics the values that America First Patriots aspire!

Ron and Nicky are establishment politicians , dead in the water.

You don’t seem to understand, Democrats could not wish for a better Republican pick than Trump.

The election will not be decided by the extremists in MAGA for whom every Trump crime and Trump obscenity is cause to double down, it will be decided by swing voters.

I certainly hope so. I still hold to the belief that most Americans are too smart for these loonies and their grifter.

Fact is though they were too smart in 2016 as well, where he lost the vote for the first time. He was Selected, not Elected by a ridiculous, not fit for purpose system that chooses the loser as the President.

That was the really fraudulent election. And not the first of its kind either.
