Biden's own DOJ says he is an 'elderly man with a poor memory': Classified document case

Social Media

Recommended Posts

Well I suppose there are a few things in Biden's favour, inasmuch as he hasn't asked one of his team if they can buy Greenland, as did Trump, nor stolen from a charity or bankrupted several companies thereby stiffing the working man.

He is an elderly man and can be prone to gaffes/memory lapses, but then again compared to the ex-president, he is intelligent, squeaky clean and a diamond.

Biden, despite his deteriorated mental state is still in office. This cannot stand, or can it? LOL....only in a loony and deluded democratic setting.

Biden appears to be geographically challenged and confused about Mexico sharing a border with Gaza, or fumbles with his memory and cannot recall when he was VP or when his son died.

Sharp dude this Biden, [bout as sharp as a bowling ball...] He's also in the oval office.

trump is not exactly sharp as tack. Besides being geographically challenged, he is host of many other cognitively challenged behaviors. Both men shared similarly old age cognitive decline but Biden stand high on matters relating to competence, principle, ethics and honesty. Way above lying Trump.

Biden is too mentally incompetent to stand trial for the stated crime of willfully retaining and sharing classified materials. What part don't you understand: Biden is a criminal but too mentally unwell to be indicted and stand trial, or he's just such an outstanding albeit failed leader currently getting crushed by great and getting greater Trump and Team MAGA in all polls of significance now?  You should realize by now that Biden belongs in a care facility for elderly and mentally unwell geriatrics. To have the oval office occupied by a moron may be ok where you come from but not in the real world scheme of things. Biden's done, if you don't know that, you're no better off than him.

Wrong...........because the charge of wilfully retaining and sharing classified documents would be unable to be proven given that he owned up to having them and notified the proper authorities and did not lie about any aspect of it, so the worst possible scenario would have been a slap on the wrist for being forgetful. Unlike your fat hero who lied and constantly obstructed efforts to retrieve the stolen documents....see the difference?

Biden is too addled and confused to lie. That is the conclusion of the report. Trump is still sharp enough to be a braggart and an arrogant prick.  I know which I would pick if, God forbid, those were the only choices available.

Sure, 5 years later...  When the heat was on, and he knew that his crimes would come out because of the Trump case.

He knew in 2017 (and probably earlier) that he had classified documents that he wasn't allowed to have.  He turned them over in 2022.

Read the report.  It's pretty damning.  Because he wasn't senile when he committed the crimes.

Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Hur’s report reads.

Entirely reasonable for anyone to present themselves to a jury in a way that garners sympathy.

A long way from a diagnosis or indeed a Cognitive Assessment Test.

And this from medical specialsts should quieten the Biden bashers and dumb trump supporters.........

A lengthy report by the Department of Justice on President Biden’s handling of classified documents contained some astonishing assessments of his well-being and mental health.

Mr. Biden, 81, was an “elderly man with a poor memory” and “diminished faculties” who “did not remember when he was vice president,” the special counsel Robert K. Hur said.

In conversations recorded in 2017, Mr. Biden was “often painfully slow” and “struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries.” So impaired was Mr. Biden that a jury was unlikely to convict him, Mr. Hur said.

Republicans were quick to pounce, some calling the president unfit for office and demanding his removal.

But while the report disparaged Mr. Biden’s mental health, medical experts on Friday noted that its judgments were not based on science and that its methods bore no resemblance to those that doctors use to assess possible cognitive impairment.

In its simplest form, the issue is one that doctors and family members have been dealing with for decades: How do you know when an episode of confusion or a memory lapse is part of a serious decline?

The answer: “You don’t,” said David Loewenstein, director of the center for cognitive neuroscience and aging at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

The diagnosis requires a battery of sophisticated and objective tests that probe several areas: different types of memory, language, executive function, problem solving, and spatial skills and attention.

The tests, he said, determine if there is a medical condition, and if so, its nature and extent. Verbal stumbles are not proof, Dr. Loewenstein and other experts said.

Where is your documented ( from a qualified person ) proof that he is mentally unfit?

We have documented proof the Trump was rushed to the Walter Reid Memorial Hospital in the middle of the night to be administered the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Test.

Trump himself frequently discusses it, but we have never been told why Trump’s handlers thought that extraordinary measures was taken with such nighttime urgency.

We also have documented records from firsthand participants that Trump’s own Cabinet considered enacting the 25th Amendment against him.

Let’s see you try to here all others have failed.

Please provide evidence, real quote and real link, of any assessment that Biden is not fit to stand trial.

Or be owned by your own baseless nonsense claims.

I wouldn't be surprised if Smiling Mr Hur receives some reprimand for putting his political slant in the report.  I could see where any DOJ would want keep the political sniping out of their text.

Worth noting that the partisan opinions expressed in the above weblink were made in mid-2023 -- many months before the Republican-aligned special counsel decided that no criminal charges would be brought against Biden for any violations of federal law.

when you say 'republican-aligned' so as to discredit somewhat, does the same apply to ' Dem - aligned' in terms of prosecutors, jury, media?

The reference isn't intended to discredit him, after all, his finding to not file any criminal charges pertained to a Democrat President, making the outcome all the more significant.

It does, however, accurately reflect his career history and political leanings as a Trump appointed U.S. attorney and, before that, a long association with and support of various Republican and right-wing judges and political figures.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_K._Hur

"After law school, Hur was a law clerk for Judge Alex Kozinski of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from 2001 to 2002 and for Chief Justice William Rehnquist of the U.S. Supreme Court from 2002 to 2003.[2]"

"On November 1, 2017, Hur was nominated by President Donald Trump to be the next United States Attorney for the District of Maryland.[6] ... He was sworn in on April 9, 2018.[9]

"Hur has made donations to the campaigns of at least three Republican political candidates, for less than one thousand dollars combined.[24]"

Why not put to bed the calls of lack of mental fortitude and take a competency test? It seems like the logical thing to do.  They could also release the interview from back in  2017 and  also subpoena Hur. Why not get to the bottom of it and end the speculation one way or another?

Biden and/or those who care for him should have anticipated this day would  come after special counsel Hur completed his investigation.

How about news on trump being ordered to pay back millions which he stole from a charity, or many of his other crimes because he was convicted of them.

They did, and Hur was forced to read the transcript of the Biden issue.

It turns out that Biden has a better memory than Hur.

Hur's summary did not accurately describe their actual interview.

There were things that Biden didn't remember from 2009 and 2017, but that is typical for most people.

Most people are not POTUS. A POTUS should be held to a higher standard than most people.

Trump won because a lot of people didn't want HRC to become president. He is in the running now because a lot of people don't want Biden to be president again.

If you don't know what is in the US constitution perhaps you should read it.
