Sedan Driver Injured, Passenger Killed in Chonburi Bypass Accident

Chonburi — A car accident claimed one life and left another seriously injured on the Chonburi bypass bridge Tuesday, February 13th.


The incident occurred in Moo 8, Napa sub-district, Mueang district, Chonburi. Upon arrival at the accident scene, rescue workers found a black BMW sedan had collided with the foundation of the bypass bridge.

 

The collision resulted in serious injuries to the sedan driver, 26-year-old Mr. Aphirak Kongprateb. However, his passenger, an unidentified man in his mid-20s, was killed due to severe head injuries.

According to eyewitness Mr. Phornchai Sakuljankeasam, 58, he was driving in the left lane when he noticed the BMW approaching at high speed and swerving into his lane. The sedan then collided with the bridge on the right, leading to the devastating accident
