Amazing!

In the land where education cultivates low knowledge and subordination, corruption is beyond all borders where the ignorant pays to pass University while staying ignorant...

What a future!!

Nothing here surprises me from the school principal Directors getting a cut of everything cost to buy to the teachers for that to cheat on the test probably just seems normal to them. Wife got here went out with the teacher who told me she would write essays for upper students for their masters degree go figure TIT.

The complaint, lodged by a member of the Khon Kaen Provincial Education Committee, alleged that the former Director of the Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, now Director at Uthai Thani Educational Service Area Office 1, and the Chairman of the committee were both involved in corrupt activities.

The complaint led to the revelation of a cheating scandal involving the production and sale of exam preparation manuals, which matched the actual test questions, for 600,000 baht each

Rotten to the core...

Incorrect.

Teacher loan payments are taken at source.

Long term loans can also be borrowed using the lump sum payment teachers receive at retirement as collateral.

Low income tax? Incorrect.

Teachers don't have a preferential tax rate

Free health care and pension? I agree. They are attractive perks.

In the real world teachers set an example. In Thailand they do the opposite by cheating to get their job and instead of teaching tolerance they beat students for the smallest infraction. And if it isn't teachers cheating it's the police - another group that in the real world are supposed to set an example to others - in their exams.

Wonderful culture. Corruption from the very top to the very bottom. Proud To Be Thai.
