Nasal polyp treatment

Featured Replies

Hi, my Belgium doctor prescribed me a nasal spray (corticosteroid) to treat a nasal polyp i have for 3 years. I can't find it in Thailand. Could you tell me what drug do you use here or the name of molecule please ? I would like to buy it at Fascino.

Thanks for your help !

From what I understand, to get it removed is fairly easy and safe, if done by an otolaryngologist.....

I will do later. Thanks

Also and in combination with Nasonex, a decongestant will help. Otrivin is good for this.

If the problem persists then you will need to se a nose specialist who may prescribe a short course of steroid tablets.

I was prescribed and got it much cheaper at the above online store...

Every local pharmacy, including Fascino should have Nasonex 140 for about the same price as online.

I have the same problem, and I used the Nasonex for nearly a year with zero results. You'll see videos on YouTube explaining how to administer the spray so that it reaches the polyp, but it just doesn't work. The polyp is way up in the cavity toward the ear, and regardless of where you aim the spray, it cannot turn that corner to reach the polyp, and it simply hits a wall and stops there. I stopped using it, and now it has been over a year and hasn't grown since it was first discovered two years ago. It never bothers me! I have a scope done annually to check on its growth.

ENT Doctor prescription for a Small nasal polyp "Naso Spray" Mometasone Furoate 50 mcg. Hua Hin Hospital Pharmacy.

You can find both Mometasone and Fluticasone in Thailand !

Don't be stingy pay a visit to a doctor and do not ask advises for drugs to anyone.

I am unvaccinated and I have to take drugs and visit hospitals 25 years ago but when I do not feel healthy I go to doctor and I do not ask for drugs my friend who is a mechanic or in computer room......
