Commander of HTMS Chonburi transferred pending investigation

The Navy has transferred the commander of HTMS Chonburi to the Royal Thai Fleet Command on a temporary basis, pending the outcome of the investigation into an accident in which his ship accidentally fired at HTMS Khirirat on March 14.

 

The accident caused a fire on HTMS Khirirat and injured 14 navy officers, mostly due to hot smoke inhalation. The accidental firing also damaged four compartments on the ship.

 

The Navy has set up an investigation panel to look into the cause of the accident. Both ships were docked next to each other when the accident happened.

    I am sure he was the most qualified for the job, Thailand only promotes those who send the fattest brown envelopes up the chain of command to buy their positions.

    Commander didn't know that Exercise Cobra Gold was over. Defending the Homeland the only way he knew how.

    HTMS Khirirat must have either taken his parking space or parked too close and door dinged him and pizzed him off

    Cleared the hang-up! if the barrel was at 45 degrees the projectiles might have landed in Pattaya?? 5555!
