Report Expat Confusion Grows as Thailand Cracks Down on Helmet Law Violations
LMFAO............Around schools..............foster adherence to safety laws. What a joke. Go to any school early morning, or when they throw out. Watch the police stop traffic to allow dozens upon dozens of bikes ridden by children as young as 7 or eight, with two or three passengers on most of them. As for helmets, maybe some of the drivers have one. Will they be fined 2,000 Baht each, yes, when hell freezes over. -

Buying favors': AOC sounds alarm on tech tycoons who captured Trump presidency
The words of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY): "Elon Musk dumped hundreds of millions of dollars into trying to buy the U.S. presidential election, and he is trying to recoup that investment by getting one of the largest tax cuts for billionaires in American history — which the Republican Party is trying to pay for through massive cuts to Medicaid, for Americans with disabilities, health care for the poor," she said. The scene of tech CEOs like Musk, Amazon's Jeff Bezos, and Meta's Mark Zuckerberg sitting close to Trump at his inauguration, she continued, is "a moment in history personified." "This is not just people buying favors," Ocasio-Cortez said, "This is about who controls this country, and everyone else is just a formality, and that is the worldview that we are up against right now.'' 'Buying favors': AOC sounds alarm on tech tycoons who captured Trump presidency I dare say Steve Bannon may agree with her.
