The Biden camp wasted no time in rebuking the video, highlighting Trump's alleged propensity for inciting political violence and drawing attention to the January 6 Capitol insurrection. Michael Tyler, communications director for the Biden campaign, emphasized the seriousness of Trump's actions, citing the sacrifice of Capitol police officers in defending democracy.

 

 

In response, Steven Cheung, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign, downplayed the controversy, attributing the image to a pickup truck spotted on a highway. Cheung accused Democrats and other critics of hypocrisy, alleging that they have not only condoned violence against Trump and his family but have also weaponized the justice system against him.

 

The U.S. Secret Service, tasked with protecting current and former presidents, refrained from commenting directly on the matter, adhering to its policy of not discussing protective intelligence matters.

 

The video was shared on Truth Social, Trump's own social media platform, with the caption indicating that it was filmed during Trump's visit to Long Island, New York, where he attended the wake of a New York City police officer who lost his life during a traffic stop.

 

The incident further underscores the contentious political climate in the United States, where even imagery in social media posts can spark heated debates and accusations between political rivals. The arrested and released on bail fat guy is free ONLY so long as he doesn't commit a new criminal offense. That is the primary condition of any bail. If his post is viewed as a threat, that is a crime, and he could be jailed while awaiting any of his many trials.
