Popular Post webfact
Wichit – An intoxicated American man was charged after he hit a sedan glass window with a rock in Wichit on Thursday (April 11th). The Wichit Police were notified of the incident at 5:30 A.M. by Mr. Tharathit Na Phatthalung, 33. He told police that a foreign man had hit his sedan’s glass window with a rock while it was parked on Chao Fa Road opposite a hotel in Wichit. He did not know the foreign man. Police quickly arrived at the scene to find the blood stained damaged sedan. A shoeless foreign man was found nearby. The intoxicated foreign man was taken to the Wichit Police Station. He was later identified by the police only as Mr. DENNY, 46, an American national. He told police that his unidentified friend had allegedly forgotten a mobile phone in the sedan. He used a rock to try to break the glass window of the sedan to get the mobile phone back. Popular Post hotchilli
He was charged with damaging property belonging to someone else. He is now in custody and the case will be sent to the court on Friday (April 12th). His case was also reported to Phuket Immigration with a suggestion to revoke his visa. Mr. DENNY had entered Thailand on March 24th last month with a 30-day tourist visa. Fine him, take him directly to the airport and see him off with a wave.. 1

Over reacted for sure but when someone encroaches on someone walking across a street that close, a lot take it seriously. I see it happen all the time here where pedestrians don't seem to have the right of way as they do in the US. I've had to quicken my pace to avoid getting hit many times., and most times in a store parking lot where kids walk. That's a punishable offense back home, and I'm sure this guy felt threatened, although he didn't have to do anything besides raise his arm and say watch it.

A easy mistake for the American. no one told him that he was not in Kansas anymore (Wichita, Kansas) Unfortunately here in Los getting drunk and acting stupid is a capital offence , which is a big part of the declining population problem in Thailand.

Popular Post ChaiyaTH
WTF sent to court and to immigration to revoke his visa... This stuff would normally be settled within the police station where both the car owner and the police get something, now every small incident there is automatically mean your visa is done for + blacklisted? .... We're talking a 10-20K baht issue, I mean this stuff happens daily in Pattaya or Phuket + worse lol X 20-30 times? I never make issues with Thais in over a decade, but there is plenty of times where Thais have tried to trigger me, specially in traffic, where I would verbally or with hand signs make clear that they can go FK themselves, if nearly having killed me with their cars. But now in Phuket, that could even be your end, if they video tape only part of it. And we all know how much Thais love to have or gain power, so if this trend continues, you can bet your ass on it, they will abuse this. Started when Thais said the same thing about the Swiss guy who kicked a doctor. Some folk here seem to think that it is funny to keep repeating it. No idea why.
