Is it correct and helpful for an educator in an American school, even an American middle school, to discuss butt plugs and lube with students as young as aged 14?

 

I went to an elite school in the USA in the late 1960s.

 

We covered many interesting and riveting Topics, just as I do here on TV..

But, we never discussed butt plugs and lube with our instructors at my all-boys schools, both boarding and day schools.

 

What is happening in Chicago?

 

The very last thing I would appreciate, as a 14-year old, would be to discuss a lube job with my male instructors at boarding school.

 

Sure, any female instructor teaching me how to use butt plugs and lube, I could have tolerated....maybe....

Obviously this story is exaggerated and sensationalized, but the truth is for young people that are exploring that part of their sexuality and such people are not very rare, it would be useful to know about such built to use objects BECAUSE they have bases. The bases prevent them from becoming a very embarrassing ER visit.

Did you read about the golfer at the St. David's Country Club, on The Main Line, who had to make an emergency visit to Bryn Mawr Hospital to have the doctor on-call remove a 4-Iron from inside him?

Parents should be invited into the classroom,  anytime.

Parents' involvement during class time is extremely beneficial.

Children make even more progress when parents become involved in the learning process.

I know that this is true.

All life revolved around it, from about 12 or 13 yrs old, till just a few years ago, as I'm slowly no longer obsessed, mentally and physically.  Giving it a break, from thought all day long.

 

Literally a driving force to live.   Why I never understood suicide, as there's always another 'smile' waiting to be had in the future.

I went to a Jesuit prep school in the 60s. All boys. I can’t imagine the teachers ever discussing butt plugs or lube. I guess that today, anything is possible with some schools.

 

The weirdest thing I ever encountered was in college, in New York City.  The student union had a special screening of Deep Throat one night.  Apparently, perfectly acceptable.
