What can substitute a money safe?

Just had a friend in WhatsApp staying in Pattaya 19 nights staying in Airbnb  a Condo with no money safe

 

Yes he should of asked first before renting it off Airbnb but he says you can't contact the owner first on this Airbnb .

 

Do they have portable money safes in Pattaya stores he can go to ?

Ok think there is a hardware store near Tony's Gym ,maybe they sell it hen but as I said useless without it being drilled down 

 

I suggested putting his cash in his suitcase under the bed ,I mean it's unlikely anyone is going to break into his unguarded Condo 

I think it's FLYBIRD 

 

Even if he was to buy a small money box it wouldn't be drilled down

 

Freezer may be a good place 

Under the bed 

On top of wardrobe

 

 

He is mentioning a PIR portable  alarm apparently goes off if someone is in sight so could scare off thieves ,where do you buy these

there are some small money safes that have a metal wire. 

so you can attach it to a column or sth like that in the apt.

P.S. Still, nothing can be compared to “under the bed”. Anything one puts under the bed is synonymous to being “invisible”.

Do you realize that USDT is not a risk-free asset? Nobody knows for sure how it works, who controls it etc. I would even prefer “under the bed” option to USDT.

You don't know how anything of that works, why even comment? DAI USD is backed by loans, people know how it works and who's behind it.

Banks are only good for people living in Thailand and credit cards are only for young people. I did apply for a credit card at my bank and the answer was no. Because I am a pensioner.

I prefer to pay a little more and have peace of mind.

Have your friend “wise“ the money to your account as he needs it, and then you can give it to him. No need to keep more in hand than he needs for a few days. This would greatly reduce the pain if it is lost.

Most places we've been recently use qr codes to pay. Been to several restaurants that don't take cash anymore.

... is it really that hard to carry money.  1 stack is 100k baht.   How much do you need to have at 1 time.  HINT: ATMs when needing more

... in this digital money world, you really don't need to carry much at all

 

I carry money & PP with me at all times.  I don't lose sh!t and you ain't going pick pocket my bag.  Nobody is that good.  Paranoia rules.

Guess you're not in TH, or you haven't used an ATM in about 10 yrs, if not more. 

 

Unless you're only use AEON, which can be a bit annoying, as not many ATMs, and many free standing, which you really shouldn't use.

Try it. Super simple. And you don't need to carry much cash. I saw a tuk tuk with a qr code! Most taxis have them. All convince and grocery stores have them. And transferring money to someone is super easy. We do it all the time. No cash.
