Thai woman exposes employer’s lewd advances, explicit messages
Photo via MGR Online By Petch Petpailin A Thai woman took to social media to expose her employer, a restaurant owner in the Isaan province of Khon Kaen, for sexually harassing her by sending lewd messages and pictures, including an image of his penis. The 30 year old victim, Nat, resigned from the restaurant and filed a complaint against the owner at Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station. She later shared her story in a Facebook group for Khon Kaen residents to warn others, especially women, to avoid working at the place. In an interview with Channel 8, Nat revealed that she heard rumours about her employer’s inappropriate behaviour when she first started working at the restaurant. However, as nothing happened to her at the time, she chose to ignore it and continued working. Nat worked there for five months before the harassment began. The issue arose after she viewed an explicit picture shared by her employer on social media. The employer noticed her among the viewers of his post and sent her a message. “Don’t be unrestrained when looking at the pictures I share, OK? But if you’re interested, I can open a whole new world for you.” The employer then asked Nat for sex and invited her to join him in watching swinging activities at a hotel. Nat refused his advances and firmly stated her lack of interest. She immediately planned to resign and began searching for a new job Pervert employer While waiting for new employment, Nat endured continued sexual harassment from her employer, who persisted in sending her lewd messages and invitations for sex. He also sent her explicit pictures of his penis or sex toys daily, boasting about his sexual prowess with messages such as… “I usually pay 5,000 baht for sex. I’ll double it for you. Is that OK?” “Everyone wants to have sex with me when they see this (sending a picture of his penis). Don’t you want to try?” “I know you want to have sex with me too but you are too shy.” The harassment escalated when the employer sent Nat videos of himself masturbating while drunk and continued to pressure her for sex, even offering her money in exchange. Although Nat eventually left the restaurant, the harassment did not stop. The employer ordered other staff members to search for her at her accommodation and her boyfriend’s workplace, attempting to bring her back to the restaurant. Feeling unsafe, Nat decided to leave the province altogether. Nat urged the police to expedite their investigation and take her case more seriously. She expressed concern that the restaurant owner might flee before police acted. Channel 8 reported that its team attempted to contact the restaurant owner, but he declined to speak with the media. I've had enough of the Tourist Ghettos in Thailand!
Head for Chiang Saen for the Saturday night riverside market. Chill out and watch the lights of Laos' casinos, eat on the steps next to the river. Give yourself a treat and go to the Opium Museum just out of town ( there's two ). The one out of town is well worth a visit. Its past the Golden Triangle viewing on the left hand side heading to Mae Sai. -

toxic substances sold only in tiny packets
Am I imagining this? I can think of several substances that could kill you if you take enough *. But consumer and health authorities just make buying it poor value and inefficient. For example, Benzyl benzoate lotion (25%) an insecticide, which is very effective topically for scabies, is not made a not criminal act to posess or sell it, just a PITA to buy in sensible quantities. So, what do people do? They buy ten small bottles. This practice is, of course, not unique to Thailand. Likewise cough syrup with tincture of opium. Again, very effective (perhaps due more to the licorice). It seems that the harm reduction philosophy is exemplified in cannabis but not for pharmaceuticals or food. I would actually be happy to see labelling laws such as any prepared food item with more than 8% sugar in it to have a red dot on the package. Would save a lot of time scanning shelves instead of reading fine print. What is done in India for vegetarian products is a green dot. Whatever is important to Thais could be coded - less than three food additives? * "In dose, everything is poison" Paracelsus -

Please, please help me to understand
I will buy into this, you seen what the other guys are saying, I will add, just bring in what you need to live per month leave the rest of your money at home, you can bring in between 4 to 500,000 per year before the need to pay tax depending on age. If you can show savings of amounts before the start of 2024 that you may want to bring in for various reasons like buy a condo, make sure you have proof, depending on the mood of the tax officer high chance it wont be seen as a taxable amount, some forward planning and thinking you can work your way around the new tax rules but really why do you need to bring in 150,000 a month? -
