i'd like to know in this scenario ,

if I wont be renewing the extension of stay for 1 year [ non imm O ]

and i go back to my country for example 6 months or longer  , whats the procedure to get an extension when I'm back in thailand ?

I also forgot , can i actually get the Visa approval (not extension of stay} in Thailand or do  I need to get it from my country embassy?

do i still need the minimum 400k for 3 mths ,  go thru the officer interview etc ?

thank you in advance

Apply for single non-O in 'my country' before you come back and you'll get a 90 day entry.  That way you avoid onward ticket issues and also avoid 1 trip to immigration.  Then extend that in the last 30 days.  You'll be basically starting over so all the original requirements, financial, etc, will apply.

You would be starting the whole process over.

A non O provides a 90 day stamp and the only extension available is 12 months or 60 day extension to visit wife.

Why are you considering not obtaining annual extensions?

Even for folk only staying 6 months in Thailand its a good option.

The 400k only in bank for 2 months plus under consideration period.

Then you can use the funds as you wish.
