Russian Businessman Arrested for Alleged Assault, Illegal Weapons

This past Tuesday, a 38-year-old Russian businessman was taken into custody on Koh Samui.  Identified only as Mr. Nikhita, he was arrested by the Bophut Police. He is facing severe charges of assault and illegal weapons possession. The raid on his property was prompted by a tip-off from a local.

 

The arrest warrant was initiated due to a complaint lodged by Mr. Nikhita's girlfriend, whose identity has been kept confidential. She alleges that he sexually assaulted her and threatened her using a firearm.

 

While executing their search, the police team unveiled many unlicensed weapons including a commando rifle complete with ammunition and a handgun at the property in the Maret sub-district. Also seized were a luxury BMW sedan, a Ducati motorcycle, and a pickup truck lacking a license plate.

 

Mr. Nikhita, owner of an Italian restaurant nearby the Baan Bang Rak Pier, confessed to owning the firearms, claiming he has a private liking for guns.

 

However, he refused to address his partner's allegations. This incident has triggered concerns about domestic abuse and illegal firearms possession among foreigners living in Thai popular tourist areas.

 

As investigations proceed, Mr. Nikhita will remain in custody at the Bophut Police Station, facing several charges and potential deportation.

That sounds like a good idea. Especially deportation. Can just throw in a few more Russians in the deportation scheme as extra merit making.

There is no question that Russian history, culture and art is incredibly deep and incredibly rich, this is the land that has produced the Bolshoi and the Kirov, Nobokov, Stravinsky, Malevich, Popova, Kandinski, etc. 

 

But most of that is ancient history, these days they're producing munitions, they're creating warfare, they are sponsoring corruption, they're creating oligarchs out of thin air from state enterprises, they have a leader who's one of the richest men in the world from extortion and pure corruption, who also happens to be a serial killer, and they just do not seem to be contributing much in the way of positivity to the planet as a whole. If I'm wrong, if you are aware of some wonderful things that the Russian nation is doing for the planet, please let me know. I would love to hear about that. 

 

There are a multitude of reasons why very few around the world have sympathy for the Russians. Those reasons are not limited to their serial killing, despot, thieving multi billionaire dictator for life. It is more about their nature, their history as ruthless, homicidal Cossack warriors, and their total lack of manners, and class. Not to mention the dignity, class, decency, civility, and social skills decades of Leninism, Stalinism, and now Putinism has stripped them of. 

 

Some observations on why Russians seem to be so grumpy, annoying and unhappy:

 

In one series of studies with Helena Slobodskaya, a psychologist at Novosibirsk State University Research Institute of Physiology and Basic Medicine, we found that mothers in Russia, compared to American caregivers, reported that their infants and toddlers were more likely to demonstrate negative emotions, such as anger or frustration. The Russian mothers also reported that their young children exhibited lower levels of positive emotional expression, including smiling and laughter.

Absolutely! They don't deserve visa free entry to Thailand.

 

I am myself a Russian national.

 

I have obtained a proper Non O-A Retirement Visa at the Thailand Consulate in Moscow, Russia.

 

Only high quality Russian citizens should be allowed to enter Thailand.

 

Unfortunately, 90% of Russians who have come to Thailand are low quality people. This is the fact I am observing over the past 15 years of my retirement stay in Thailand.

When in St P I stayed at a home stay with a russian guy. He asked me several times if I were gay. No I said. Im into ladies. 

 

He had a saying on his kitchen table. It was so negative. I wish that I had taken a photo. No wonder he was such a miserable bastard. 

 

Back home I had a russian gf. I decided to fly to LOS to celebrate my bday. She persuaded me to pay a return ticket to come and meet me. She didnt turn up to koh san road. The morning of her return ticket I cancelled her flight back home. Som nom na. 

 

Not a big fan of russians. Not many good experiences
