You really think Russia can sustain these losses forever?

You don't seem to understand the conflict.

Why did the US withdraw from Vietnam and Afghanistan? Was it due to battlefield losses?

A train was unloading ammunition at the Toropets depot when the depot was blown up.

Russia has never been about quality but about quantity. The sheer size of Russia which has once been an asset helping to defend Russia, becomes a liability in the 21st century.

So why did Putin invade Ukraine?
Not Nato.

Not Nazis.

This --

David Ignatius

Russia invaded Ukraine because of the delusional arrogance and vanity of its leader, Vladimir Putin--who had an almost mystical idea of the restoration of Ukraine (not a "real" country) to the Russian imperial zone. Hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded Russians have paid for that

And how do you think what is needed to restore Ukraine to the Russian imperial zone? Of course, the direct conflict with the USA is absolutely needed. No other way to do it. That is the exact reason why Putin wants Biden or Harris for president. Because these people prefer the direct conflict (with the rebranded, blue and yellow colors on the US soldiers' military clothes to avoid responsibility) while Trump will most likely freeze it.

no ....  that's great news.   I always said they could easily destroy that 1000 containers during transit.

Now just start destroying Moscow and hit as many facilities as possible.

I like the approach of attacking weapons and ammunition depots deep in Russia.

I totally agree ....  I always said they needed to destroy that 1000 containers.  The US or Ukraine could do that in a heartbeat by just tracking the shipment.

Now go after every ammo storage in Russia ....    that's the way to slow or even stop the supply.

A multi-pronged Russian offensive throwing massed tanks and armored personnel carriers into the teeth of prepared Ukrainian defenses in the eastern Donbas sector has scored limited ground gains at some locations, but at the price of possibly record losses in men and fighting machines, Ukrainian official statements, news platforms, and unit battle reports on Monday said.
