Hard to predict how Justic Juan Merchan would handle the sentencing but this is not a one-off case about payoff but a eleborate wide-ranging effort to bury potentially damaging stories to protect Trump's Presidential bid. The entirety of the plan and the facts and cicumstances that came out during the trial warrant a sentence of incarceration.
