Oh, it's a conspiracy against the Brit.

Wrong again, it is the word of the person that was punched in the nose and others who have a grievance with the guy.

C'mon, you can do better than this.

One of the most common stereotypes that Thais have of farang men is that they are 'jai rawn' or quick to temper.

They love to perpetuate this as an excuse when they are on the receiving end as a result of their passive-aggressive behaviour towards farangs.

Not saying that is the case here, but I have seen it so many times before.

There are always 2 sides to every story, it would be interesting to see the footage leading up to the still image pictured.

There is footage on Fabulous Pattaya media 103. YouTube.

I think they mention Nationalities to embarrass as should be fine, and as well they are matter of factly stating,”Here goes another ill tempered, uneducated,  beer soaked <deleted> again, <deleted>in’ things up for the rest of the expats”. Ya’ think?

An interesting comparison here between the media of two countries, Thai media makes a point of naming nationalities, British media make a point of not revealing nationality or ethnicity.

We all know why that is, don't we? It's actually endangering the public because every identifying characteristic known to the authorities should be made available to the public to help in the arrest of the perp.

Notice the difference between Phuket and elsewhere ?

Phuket would already be talking about visa cancellation

what Mathew needs is a few weeks in Thai jail for some attitude adjustment. Fines and wais will not make any difference

When a farang is imprisoned, he becomes personna no grata and is deported.

Expats should not have attitudes, how do you think this would have gone down if it was in the UK and a Thai man did this

Someone would of hit him then it would be forgotten, at least when I was there that was many years ago

The story is just telling us farangy's, on a farangy forum, that one of us farangy's is being naughty.

So, for some here, nothing to do with what Thais do.....😋

Given the relative small farang population here, number of altercations seems many. This reporting like transam said, is to inform the farang communities that antics some farangs are up to and also that Thais will make a complaint to police if it went too far. Soon we will have the farang making an apology on social media for all to see.
