How do you escape?  Give in?  Wait a while then give in so as not to look too cocky?  As long as you can last? Or last it out until the end?  Could be years.

 

If you admit to their demands you might get off with 10 years of hard labour.  Who knows you might be released.  After all it was a just a minor slip up.  You didn't wear the mask.

Check what happened to this poor guy who went to the police to report his father missing. Underwent 17hrs of psychological torture to finally confess to what the police wanted to hear and then the father showed up alive.

One scenario I have envisaged (for a novel) is to make up as many lies as possible so the torturer cannot know which version is true.

I think I could hold out against Bob or Lou , even Gamma for a while , maybe , but if Georgegeorgia entered the room I would spill the beans immediately or beg to be put out of any agony coming my way. I mean , who knows where his mop handle has been.
