Because it’s allowed, even encouraged to increase traffic on the site, and some folks are just bored with a need to entertain themselves squat and ramble all day on the forum, don’t take it too seriously, brush over it and move on. Though there is the finance, schooling, visa etc help sections that remains civil and rational for the most part, though those do go off the rails every now and then.
June 10, 20241 yr I enjoy adding to the running joke that many dumb posts turn out to be. And I'm grateful for any time-wasting filler. There's a post here where a guy keeps saying he likes Hua Hin. He really likes Hua Hin; within a very, very narrow range of Hua HIn-liking that he can't possibly restate enough. Downward arrow scrolling time for me. What am I supposed to do, say to him stop liking Hua Hin? Like Hua Hin in a less broken-record way? How's that going to play out? If I post a semi-serious topic, I generally get about 10-15 replies. Most people are here for laughs, not enlightenment. Me too. I've opted out of Trump discussions Unless I have a joke to toss in that I rate an 8 or above.

Most of the active posters, like to call out us who lives in Isaan for some reasons. Wonder why
