Business As Usual?
Got to love the Thais. The ink barely wet on all these weighty documents and already they're on it. I think it'll balance out OK. The med cert 'fee' brings more money into the economy. To have it less in your face for those just going about their business with the smell and fumes in public is surely better than it is now? After all it's not Thais you see anywhere blowing their smoke with no consideration for non smokers, children etc either is it? Western tourists blew it basically. -

Is it actually possible for a foreigner to buy land and run a tourism business in Thailand
I remembered his channel. Dig through his endless rants about Thailand, Im sure there is some gold there about running a business or two. Now I see you are not the novise you first gave impression of in your first thread, and there is more to it. Anyway, Im sure there is more than you who have the same ideas, so could be productive for those with the pink glasses intact https://youtube.com/@danaboutthailand?si=Al7vW3Yciv42hkdU -

On a foreigner's arrival in Thailand, the immigration official scans the passport and sees the TDAC information on his screen. The officials at the local immigration offices should be allowed to access to this database, instead of having to ask applicants for a extension of stay to bring a printed copy. -

US Pushes Forward with Private Aid Plan for Gaza Amid UN Opposition

Since Israel lifted an 11-week aid blockade on Gaza on May 19, allowing limited U.N. deliveries to resume, the United Nations says more than 400 Palestinians have been killed while seeking handouts of aid. "Following incidents in which harm to civilians who arrived at distribution facilities was reported, thorough examinations were conducted in the Southern Command and instructions were issued to forces in the field following lessons learned," the Israeli military said in a statement. Do Phuket condos actually go up in price over the years?
Can't speak about the wider market, but a friend who bought a condo in Phuket at the cheaper end of the market (around 3 million baht) tried to sell it and there was very little interest, even when he tried to sell it for 35% less than he paid for it! I imagine prime units in the best locations might increase in value but I bet plenty of places don't. Let's not forget that maintenance of buildings and general upkeep are not always a local strength! -
