Does America have any candidates that aren't terrible?

Recommended Posts

Who wants to have their life investigated and turned upside down at the biggest stage in world?

Everything you said or have done in life up for exposure? As well your loved once? No normal man or woman is willing to do go through that, and the result we see on stage now.

Obama the best president Usa ever had, probably the most sane one, had character, dignity and respect for people, good speeches, intelligent, is still hated by how many?

Good point except Obama was terrible.

Point of view, and what you believe,

Any president any side with his character would do better than these two "we" have now.

Why don't you save yourself some effort by just saying everybody and everything relating to Democrats was/is rubbish.

You've made it quite clear that you blindly consider only republicans, sect leaders and would be dictators to be your god's anointed people.

Bernie Sanders is alright.

DeSantis not only would have won in a landslide who would have carried overwhelming majorities in the senate and house with him. Even if Trump ekes out a win, and if he wins it will be by eking it out, he will have a reverse coat tails effect. Anyway, RFKjr is a clear cut alternative to the two old men, either of whom will likely not live through their term.

I can think of one with the youth, intelligence, debating skills, prior military service, acumen, social empathy and who would make one of the greatest ever presidents.

Unfortunately, he's unelectable in modern, discriminatory, prejudicial America.

He has a husband.

East Palestine Ohio and Maui would strongly disagree with his qualifications

Only in a twisted republican's mind would the blame for a train derailment, caused by poor maintenance, be directed at the Transport Secretary for political point scoring. He's not responsible for every accident caused by big business cutting corners to maximize profit.

The city of East Palestine, correctly, sued the train company and won a huge compensation settlement.

One political party, when in power, is all about repealing environmental and safety legislation to assist these companies to put profit ahead of public safety.  They reap personal reward from their benefactors.

Tulsi Gabbard is ok.  And for that reason, she doesn’t have a chance.  She understands what’s going on, but she’s not willing to adhere to the official narrative.  She actually thinks for herself.

For the Deep State people, Biden has been perfect.  Someone they can control like a puppet.  Even Putin has said he prefers Biden over Trump. Putin thinks Biden is “predictable.”

I can’t imagine why anyone would want the job.

I sent Obama a substantial donation for his promise to sort out the awful healthcare system. He failed miserably despite having majorities in both the Senate and HoR. It was deplorable and Biden, one of the few good things he actually did, was to pass a law to allow Pharma companies to have to negotiate prices of drugs for the people who were insured under the ACA (Obama's healthcare act). Note Obama allowed drugs to be sole to these insured folk at premium prices way over what they can charge Medicare or any Federally sponsored system. If you knew how egregious this was paid for by lobbyists who gave only 10 million dollars for pricing with extra hundreds of billions, you might not thin Obama was that great. And BTW, you cannot opt out of Obamacare, if you don't sign up, you get fined.

Obama is overrated.

Must be hard to admit he was your best best president for a long long time. Maybe the best ever?

He had great character,  good image, speacher, good leader by example, visionary, a good influencer, a good listener. The sad thing, when Trump took over, he signed off alot of his work, reversed policies, and aimed for short term effects. Still didnt give him 8 years in the seat.

The good and bad with the system they got only 8 years and also have to battle with the senate for "horse deals" making compromises. So no total control to make long lasting policies.

A common problem in West where we go from one end to another and start on the scratch again. Take years to make any constructive changes.

Did he actually accomplish anything of note worthy?

No

Oh I don't know, he pissed off a number of people, who to this day are very circumspect as to exactly why they disliked him - see my earlier post about pigmentation.

He made an attempt (at least partially successful) to ensure health care provision not solely based on how much cash you could raise. He put the topic on the USA's political agenda, and it won't go away.

He actually got into the White House, which considering his background both racial and financial, was extremely noteworthy.

All that, (at least according to the orange fellow and his acolytes) without having a birth certificate!
