Sri Racha — A fire broke out at the Mitsubishi Motors auto assembly plant in the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate in Sri Racha on July 6th, 2024. The fire took over two hours to extinguish.


At 2:00 PM Saturday July 6th, the Laem Chabang Police Station received a report of a fire at the Japanese car assembly plant located in the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate in Sri Racha district, Chonburi province. Police coordinated with firefighters and emergency responders before rushing to the site.


There, authorities were met with a raging fire that was engulfing a pile of waste materials stored outside the plant building.
