Monk Discovers Giant King Cobra Chasing Python in Chanthaburi
reminds me of my own experience with a king cobra right behind a basket in my then office! after i discovered it i ran to the Thai neighbour's house and he helped me with long bamboo sticks to swipe it first out of the house into the other neighbour's garden, where it slithered away! never saw it again, but since then i kept the windows closed when away... before: everything open...! (the other neighbour wasn't home 😉) -

If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
Trump will be better on these issues So bring in 20 million illegals to drive wages down, and raise the minimum wage. What is Harris going to do to address it? Nothing. She represents the rich and the subsidized poor, not the middle class. You want to help the poor, close the border. Ha ha What problem? -

If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
I guess next thing you ask what about people who drive sometimes too fast? Or how about people who jaywalked? I think few of us really want that all laws are always 100% enforced. Sometimes we don't see any harm, even if people ignore laws. Another example are all the "dancers" in Thailand. What many of them do is illegal. Personally, I don't have a problem with that. I think most of us agree what real crimes and real criminals are. And laws are there, or should be there, to punish these bad guys. -

Famous Singer Tik Shiro Involved in Fatal Bangkok Car Accident, Two Dead
ok Richard. Despite Tic admitting he was speeding, an eyewitness saying he was speeding, video evidence of him speeding, the victim being thrown off the bridge due the the speed, and the inquiry the next day also confirming that he was speeding which was reported, let’s blame the glasses that he was not wearing that nobody else has mentioned apart from Richard. Everybody else is wrong and Richard is right as usual. Typical. -

Judge: Trump Could Be Partially Responsible for Jan. 6 Riot Despite Lack of Direct Order
You seem to be staggeringly naive..... A U.S. judge can use the term “could” when considering a ruling. Judges often consider hypothetical outcomes or possibilities when analyzing a case. For example, when reviewing evidence or legal arguments, a judge might use “could” to refer to potential interpretations, consequences, or outcomes: • In legal reasoning: A judge might say, “This evidence could support a finding of guilt” or “The law could be interpreted in this way.” Here, “could” signals that there is a possibility without definitively making a conclusion. • In hypothetical reasoning: A judge might use “could” to discuss what might happen under certain conditions, such as “This ruling could set a precedent” or “The defendant’s actions could have led to harm.” -

Famous Singer Tik Shiro Involved in Fatal Bangkok Car Accident, Two Dead
If you can show me any video or photo of him driving the van without dark glasses I'll stand corrected. If you can show me any video or photo of him without dark glasses at any point that evening - then I'll buy into the possibility that he may not have been driving with dark glasses. What we know so far: - Tik (driver) DUI - 2x legal limit (blood test taken back at station, so his reading would have been higher at the time). - Dark glasses (in every photo) - Motorcycle sticking out 20cm into the driving lane Why do I keep bringing up his 'dark glasses' when no one else is ? (question asked earlier) - because, as part of this discussion and debate - I believe this to be a major factor along with DUI for the cause of the incident... I suspect poor visibility at night to be a major factor in many accidents at night in Thailand (of course, along with the obvious one - booze & DUI). -

Be warned about Lazada's new silly rule
I've used Lazada for year and always managed to refunded what I wanted to refund. It was mostly fakes. I know now how to not buy fakes. Anyways, this is what I always do: 1. If I need to refund, do it before it's packed. 2. Buy with credit card, in case I get a fake and Lazada refuses to take a return, I can use the bank to dispute it (I never did with Lazada, but it's easy to do so if ever needed) 3. Search on Lazada is so bad, so I usually search while logged out, so that they dont shove their "tailored" search to me. -

King Charles: Australia's Future as a Republic Rests with Its People
I concur that the terms of having the President chosen by parliament had an effect but I think the reason it didn't get up is that people simply thought if it ain't broke it don't need fixing. Only a small percentage I'd say had been particularly pro the British Royalty but I think many thought may as well stick with what we've got. Royals for most people I think were regarded as kind of benign and the Governor General in recent times - putting aside 1975 - did what needed to be done. I voted for the Republic for what it's worth. I disagree strongly that Turnbull was not honest in his desire for a Republic and he is still is the same. Do you have evidence for that? He did come across more arrogant in his youth which probably didn't help things in the public opinion stakes but in my opinion he is sincere and mellowed into a good politician. Well better than others such as Abbott or others but that's not hard. -
