Not sure if you are aware, but Trump was president and had power from 2016 to 2020.  I don't recall him starting any new wars or persecuting any American citizens during his time in power.   Since then he has not been in power and whilst he can for sure be accused of being a sore loser, he left the office and since then someone else has been in charge.  

 

This "Hitler" narrative makes absolutely zero logical sense to anyone with even half a brain and just makes the left sound even more dimwitted than they usually do.

That said...I totally agree that Biden should step down, but that doesn't mean I think he's gonna lose if he doesn't step down. It's still a toss up at best or worst. Centrists and Independents will have a hard time pushing the radical Trump/Vance ticket.

Perhaps some might do well to read up on the preconditions for the revolution that would install Trump as dictator in the US, and they may discover that they are absent from reality in the US.

Hitler came to power in a democracy … he didn’t go straight to building extermination camps … it all built up slowly. Get in power, take over the institutions that ensure checks and balances, ban the opposition (enemies of the people) and expel and jail anyone who could foster any type of opposition.

Springer went to visit him, I think his Dad was a very old man at the time, and not really up to driving. Yet he had a fully serviced car in his garage? At the time I thought like Springer, that his Dad was preparing for an event that could never happen in the US. I was wrong. I suspect his Dad lived in a Europe where such a thing could never happen … yet he subsequently lived that experience. There was nothing special about Germany, it wasn’t a unique characteristic of the people that brought Hitler to power. The sad fact is that it can happen in any country force fed propaganda and lies. Springer’s old dad understood better, because it was a lived experience for him.
