Did you even read it? That program is for a TOTAL of 21 recipients. And eligibility includes green card holders, ITIN holders and asylees among others... literally the kinds of groups who are lawfully in America but would usually be DENIED access to loans because of biases like yours. I guess you'd rather have a situation like in Thailand where Thai nationals are constantly preferred.

Thanks for saying exactly the same thing that I did. In any case you are apparently deeply worried about a programme providing a mere US$630,000 in down payment assistance across 21 loans. In 2022, a down year, there were more than 713,000 individual home sales. So this is a program that would *potentially* impact the same price of 0.0029% of homes in the US. Consider that and then reflect that 45% of homes in the US are first time purchases and there are loan programs in most cities and states. Stop fear mongering.

Did you worry about the 8 trillion dollars in debt under Obama?  Are you worried about the additional debt under Joe BIden.   The US is looking at a 1.7 trillion dollar defect in FY2024.
